Hi! I’m Lui. I’m an LA based creator with a specialized background in creative editorial for social media.

Originally from Philadelphia, I graduated in 2019 from Temple University with a B.A. in Media Studies & Production and a certificate in Film. Since relocating to Los Angeles in 2021, I have worked up the ranks from Assistant Editor all the way to becoming an award-winning Video Editor specializing in creative advertising across social and A/V.  I am an expert in creating and formatting content for social media, and am known for highly stylized, innovative methods of story-telling from a unique perspective amidst tight deadlines and client specifications.

While my specialized background is in social editorial, I am hugely passionate about the creative process and have varying skill sets across film and music production, content creation, writing, and design. Everything you see here, including this website, has been created head to tail without any use of AI.

In my free time, you can find me as both a performer and audience member of live comedy and music, as well as taking classes at theaters such as UCB. Additionally, I am a horror movie aficionado and cat parent.
